The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regards to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services position made for intervention activities a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at sassa status a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
